I’m Jim Smardon.

I was born and raised in Nova Scotia and currently live in the scenic community of Paper Mill Lake, Bedford. Over my life I’ve developed a strong passion for the environment, which was a big factor in my decision to become a realtor. With the growing climate crisis, I realized how much we can do to reduce the environmental impact of our properties and houses.

I’m the first REALTOR® in Nova Scotia to be awarded the Green Designation by the National Association of REALTORS®, and I take this honour very seriously. My goal is to help you first find a home that fits you perfectly and then give you ideas and the resources to make it greener. This can be accomplished with the help of government rebate programs and other simple solutions.

I am only one, but I am one. I can’t do everything, but I can do something.
